Climbing Stoney Point

These sandstone cliffs hold a treasured history in California climbing, dating back to the 1930’s.
Located between Chatsworth and Simi Valley, a popular bouldering spot, also host to hundreds of top rope routes, with a couple lead routes thrown in.
Classic Southern California Sandstone, grippy texture, but friable when wet, a fun place to learn climbing movement and learn how to make top rope anchors.

Climbing Malibu Creek

Boulder fields and canyons made from a mix of igneous and sedimentary rocks make for a unique climbing experience. Malibu Creek is a climbers test piece, for the climbers looking to challenge their skills on some classic hard routes. While the scene can be intimidating at first, there’s something for everyone here.

Hike & Climb: Saddle Peak

Saddle Peak is located in the Santa Monica Mountains and is made up of a collection of small sandstone crags, bolted for sport climbing. A 25 minute hike gets you out to the main climbing area.
A north-facing wall, known as “Corpse Wall” is the main climbing wall in the area and features climbs upward of 70 feet.
Best times for this trip are summertime evenings featuring some of the best sunset views found anywhere in California!

Climbing Santa Clarita

Located just north of LA on the boundary of the Angeles National Forest, lies an ancient group of monolithic crags made up of conglomerate sandstone.
Over the past few decades, sport routes have been established to make this a popular sport climbing destination for local LA climbers.
