Calling all Trail Yogis

A quick hike ... and a little stretch-out

Meet for a quick cuppa morning goodness at The Trails Café before setting out on a 2-mile out-n-back hike up into the trails of Griffith Park.

Then, upon return to the cafe, grab our mats from the car, and meet at the grassy patch across from the ranger station for a post-hike stretch-out yoga session lead by our favourite T1 Guru Robin Cressman.

for LOCAL TREKS:

Bring a mat, but leave it in the car during the hike.

Here's just one of many trail options:

Most hikers find this well travelled urban hike relatively easy. There’s a bit of an incline within the first 1/4 mile to start up the cardio system. It slows everyone down but the trail keep a good pace throughout.
Some hikers may find it helpful to use trekking poles for extra balance in some sections, while other hikers find it easy to walk or trail run the entire route.
About 1/2 mile into the hike we will be passing a vista of the Hollywood sign across the canyon on Mt. Lee. A great place to take some very cool photos

DIFFICULTY:
Easy – Moderate

DISTANCE:
About 2.4 miles (rt)

TIME:
1 hr (rt)

ELEVATION GAIN:
