Not to be confused with “Mount Muir” (14,012′) in the sierras, this one tops out at a mere 4688 ft / 1429 m
There’s a number of routes that will get to this peak, for this one we will be hiking in from Eaton Saddle past Mt Lowe and Inspiration Point.
Awesome westerly views of the Los Angeles basin, and all the way to the coast – if the weather is clear.

This is a “Intermediate Level, ~ 3 hour hike over single-track trails and wide dirt roads, with a couple steep-ish sections that will get the cardio going and the blood sugar burning.
5 miles (8.5KM) of trail takes hikers over and around 7 peaks through Griffith Park, including: Burbank Peak, Cahuenga Peak, Mt. Lee, Mt. Chapel, Mt. Bell, Taco Peak (Baby Bell), Mt. Hollywood, then back down to The Trails Cafe for lunch.
