New Year’s Hike

A hike to start off the new year for everyone (including doggos). We travel on wide, dirt fire roads all the way up Mt. Lee to the Hollywood Sign.
6 miles out n back. Usually done in about 3-4 hours, depending on pace.

El Prieto

A frequently trafficked, intermediate level hike in a lush arroyo in the Altadena foothills behind JPL, done as a 9.3km (5.8mi) out & back or can be extended to a 12.8km (8mi) loop hike.
With an elevation gain of 277m (912ft) it’s an inviting hike for beginners to step into the intermediate levels.
Cahuenga Peak at Sunset

A quick, but steep evening hike up to a prominent urban peak with excellent easterly and westerly views.
